For over 25 years the Studio Tonelli Stefano e Gozzo Luigi Dottori Commercialisti Associati (firm of Stefano Tonelli and Luigi Gozzo, Associate Accountants) has been providing highly specialised professional services to all kinds of businesses including law firms and other professionals, private individuals and multinational companies with offices in Italy.


The firm’s mission is to offer the highest possible professional services appropriate for the real world situations of its clients, using the most advanced technological equipment.
Its internal activities are structured using clear and transparent organisational methodologies which have been proven over the years and are based on accurate and detailed checklists and procedures which are constantly updated to reflect changes in accounting, civil and financial practices, so as to guarantee the client a uniform, high level standard of service.
All consultancy and assistance provided is under the supervision of at least one senior member of the firm.
One of the firm’s key attributes is the management of complex projects and assignments using teams of professionals with varied and complementary specialist skills chosen to best meet the client’s needs.
The firm takes great care with continuous training and refreshment of its staff. All its professionals regularly undertake the requisite professional training in compliance with the requirements of the Italian Board of Professional Accountants and Auditors, and its employees attend training courses held both within the firm and externally.
The firm is situated in an office block in Bologna at Via Larga no. 36, with ample parking and near to the Roveri exit of the ring road.
The firm was founded in 1987 by graduate Stefano Tonelli and later became a partnership in association with Luigi Gozzo, also a graduate.
The firm consists of members of the register of Professional Accountants and Auditors together with other highly skilled professional associates.
The firm’s strong links with technology derive from the founder’s long and successful participation in the IT and Computer Commission of the Register of Professional Accountants of Bologna, initially as a member and then as President.
With its videoconferencing consultancy sessions, the constraints imposed by physical meetings have been overcome, and activities such as Board meetings and negotiations can be organised at local level using virtual meetings across the whole of Italy and even abroad, while the participants remain at their own locations.
A further added value offered by the firm is the experience accumulated through working in integrated interdisciplinary work groups composed of professionals with a diversity of skills, for example lawyers, notaries, engineers, architects, labour consultants, valuers, surveyors and IT specialists. This approach overcomes the constraints of the organisational structure by operating through a constantly developing network of individually selected, skilled professionals.
The firm has worked with multinational organisations and is able to supply its services in English, German and French.
